How to Activate 3G in Airtel

To activate 3G on your existing Airtel connection steps are below:

1) Check if your city has 3G available

2) Call 12134 to activate 3G or

SM 3G to 121

You will get a response saying reply with “1″ to activate 3G. Send 1 to 121. You will receive 3G profile via SMS within 4 hours. Save that and use it for the Internet applications as you do for 2G.

Make sure your mobile Network setting is set for Dual Mode( 2g/3g UMTS) not just GSM mode.

i had called to 12134 but it says the number does not exist my mob is n70 will i get 3g on my mobile?

I tried that option but after dialling 12134, option1 was not available due to technical upgradation so I spoke to executive by some option (9 I guess) and he activated it immediately.

Many Thanks HK… 121 did not work for me so I dialed 12134, opt 2 english, opt 1 for G3 then 9 and got customer service …. they sent phone settings staight away!

trying to activate 3g on iphone 4s. it is unlocked through gevey ultra s sim and iphone shows 3g network. and the 3g plan is active too. but internet is not working. it says could not activate the cellular data network. and there is no other option of editing or entring APN. please need your help ASAP.
